AMIGA DEMO

The production is designed to run on an Amiga computer with a 68000-68060 processor – any other platforms, including emulated processors like Vampire or Emu68k, are not eligible.

AMIGA GFX

Please submit your work along with several steps confirming its creation.

AMIGA PROTRACKER MUSIC

The base format is the well-known and popular .mod that runs under ProTracker 2.3d on the Amiga. If errors occur under ProTracker 2.3d, the author of the work is solely responsible.

STREAMING MUSIC

Any style and technique in popular audio formats is acceptable.

WILD

Anything that doesn’t fit into the above categories goes here. Without exception, whether it’s a wonderful Atari demo, a wonderful C64 animation, or a brilliant module in MilkyTracker/VortexTracker/whatever – they’ll have their place at this party.

Compo Rules

General information:

• entries can be sent electronically to amiparty@chal.pl or submitted in person during the party,
• each entry should be accompanied by a text file with the same name as the work file, with the .txt extension and the contents as in the template at the bottom of the page, of course, the file should be supplemented with the appropriate data,
• each participant can submit one entry in each category,
• the entries must not have been previously published or exhibited in other competitions,
• the deadline for entries handed in personally at the party is Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 17:00, in the case of „remote entries” – Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 13:00,
• compos start on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 19:00,
• only those present in person at the Party can vote (votes will be distributed at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday),
• questions about the rules, deadlines, voting can be sent to the following e-mail address: amiparty@chal.pl,

Compo machines:

• • Amiga Demo Compo : Amiga 1200 + Warp1260 KS 3.1 or Blizzard 1260 KS 3.1, Amiga 500 0.5MB Chip + 0.5MB Slow, KS1.3, other configuration if necessary (after prior arrangements), but Amiga Demo Compo is as the name suggests Amiga Demo Compo, we do not make exceptions
  • Amiga GFX Compo – Amiga 1200 + Warp 1260
  • Amiga Protracker Compo – Amiga 1200 + Warp 1260 and ProTracker 2.3d
  • Streaming Music – laptop
  • Wild – here the rules are not so strict and you can use basically any machine owned by the organizers, but please arrange the details with the organizers in advance or provide the production in the form of a video file.

• Votes with votes will be collected immediately after the end of all Compos, the results will be announced after counting the votes, an hour or two after collecting the cards, on the website http://chal.pl, Facebook and PPA.pl, they will appear the very same day, if all goes well
• in case of cancellation of the party – all entries and prizes will be transferred to the next possible party – the date will be announced, unless the participant wants to withdraw their entry
• if in a given category, due to too small number of entries not all prizes are awarded – the prizes not awarded are transferred to the next edition with stage competitions
• prize collection:
  • directly at the party place as soon as the results are announced;
  • shipping at the organizer’s expense within the EU
  • winners from outside the EU – shipping possible, but the winner makes the arrangements and pays for the courier.

Amiga GFX Compo: 

• IFF format – all entries will be displayed in Deluxe Paint IV on A1200. All OCS/ECS/AGA (PAL/NTSC) modes are allowed, entries in the „cycle palette” mode is allowed. Entries in other formats will not be accepted,
• please provide some phases of the image creation process.

 Amiga Protracker Compo:

• MOD format – modules in Protracker format, will be played on Amiga 1200 (Paula) in Protracker 2.3d,
• module duration up to 5 minutes, if the module is longer, it will be muted.

Amiga Demo Compo:

• any entry (demo, intro, dentro, slideshow, etc.) in an executable file or on a bootable floppy/disk image, possible to run on one of the Amiga: Amiga 500/OCS/0.5MB Chip/0.5MB Slow/KS 1.3, Amiga 1200/060/WB 3.1. Other Amiga-related and non-Amiga related platforms, by definition and because of the prizes, this year end up in the Wild category.

Wild Compo:

• any entry that does not meet the conditions of other Compos – animation, music, graphics, film, etc.

Produkcja ma się uruchamiać na komputerze Amiga z procesorem 68000-68060 – wszelkie inne platformy, w tym emulowane procesory w stylu Vampire czy Emu68k nie biorą udziału w zabawie.

Prosimy o dostarczenie prac razem z kilkoma etapami potwierdzającymi ich powstawanie.

AMIGA PROTRACKER MUSIC

Formatem bazowym jest znany i lubiany .mod działający pod ProTrackerem 2.3d na Amidze, jeśli pojawiają się błędy pod ProTrackerem 2.3d to tylko i wyłącznie autor utworu za to odpowiada.

STREAMING MUSIC

Styl i technika dowolna w popularnych formatach audio.

WILD

Tu ląduje wszystko co nie pasuje do powyższych kategorii. Bez wyjątku, czy to cudowne demo na Atari, czy wspaniała animacja na C64, czy prześwietny moduł w MilkyTracker/VortexTracker/czymkolwiek – na tym party tam będzie ich miejsce.

Informacje ogólne:

• prace można przesyłać drogą elektroniczną na adres amiparty@chal.pl lub złożyć osobiście w trakcie trwania party,
• do każdej pracy powinien być dołączony plik tekstowy o nazwie takiej jak plik z pracą, z rozszerzeniem .txt i zawartością jak w szablonie umieszczonym na dole strony, oczywiście plik należy uzupełnić właściwymi danymi,
• każdy z uczestników może wystawić jedną pracę w każdej z kategorii,
• prace nie mogą być wcześniej publikowane lub wystawiane w innych konkursach,
• deadline dla prac oddawanych osobiście na party to sobota 14 marca 2026 godz. 17:00, w przypadku „remote entries” – sobota 14 marca 2026, godz. 13:00,
• compos rozpoczną się w sobotę, 14 marca 2026 o godzinie 19:00,
• głosują tylko obecni osobiście na Party (rozdanie votek o 18:30 w sobotę),
• pytania na temat regulaminu, terminów, głosowania można słać na maila: amiparty@chal.pl .

Amiga Demo Compo: Amiga 1200 + Warp1260 KS 3.1 lub Blizzard 1260 KS 3.1, Amiga 500 0.5MB Chip + 0.5MB Slow, KS1.3, w razie potrzeby inna konfiguracja (po wcześniejszych ustaleniach), jednak Amiga Demo Compo to jak sama nazwa wskazuje Amiga Demo Compo, nie przemalowujemy w drodze wyjątków barw.

Amiga Protracker Compo – Amiga 1200 + Warp 1260 oraz ProTracker 2.3d

Streaming Music Compo – Laptop + Elmedia Player

Wild – tu zasady są luźne i można użyć w zasadzie każdej maszyny posiadanej przez organizatorów, prosimy jednak o wcześniejsze uzgodnienie szczegółów z organizatorami lub dostarczenie produkcji w postaci pliku wideo.

• votki z głosami będą zbierane bezpośrednio po zakończeniu wszystkich Compos, wyniki ogłosimy po policzeniu głosów, godzinę – dwie po zebraniu kart,  na stronie http://chal.pl, Facebooku i na PPA pojawią się w miarę możliwości tego samego dnia,
• w przypadku odwołania party – wszystkie prace i nagrody przechodzą na kolejny możliwy termin zorganizowania party, chyba, że uczestnik zechce wycofać swoją pracę
• jeśli w danej kategorii ze względu na zbyt małą liczbę prac, nie zostaną przyznane wszystkie nagrody – nieprzyznane nagrody przechodzą na kolejną edycję z konkursami scenowymi

odbiór nagród:

• bezpośrednio na party place przy ogłoszeniu wyników;
• wysyłka na koszt organizatora w ramach EU
• zwycięzcy spoza EU – wysyłka możliwa, jednak to zwycięzca zamawia i opłaca kuriera.

Amiga GFX Compo: 

• Format IFF – wszystkie prace będą wyświetlane w Deluxe Paint IV na A1200. Dopuszczalne wszystkie tryby OCS/ECS/AGA (PAL/NTSC), dopuszczalne są prace w trybie “cycle palette”. Prace w innych formatach nie będą przyjmowane, 
• prosimy dostarczyć kilka faz z procesu tworzenia obrazka.

 Amiga Protracker Compo:

• Format MOD – moduły w formacie Protrackera, będą odtwarzane na Amidze 1200 (Paula) w Protrackerze 2.3d,
• czas trwania modułu do 5 minut, jeśli moduł będzie dłuższy to zostanie wyciszony.

Amiga Demo Compo:

• dowolna praca (demo, intro, dentro, slideshow, etc.) w pliku wykonywalnym lub na bootującej dyskietce/obrazie dyskietki, możliwa do uruchomienia na jednej z Amig: Amiga 500/OCS/0.5MB Chip/0.5MB Slow/KS 1.3, Amiga 1200/060/WB 3.1. Inne platformy okołoamigowe i nieamigowe z definicji i racji nagrody w tym roku lądują w kategorii Wild. 

Streaming Music Compo:

• Popularne formaty audio (MP3, FLAC, WAV)

Wild Compo:

• dowolna praca, która nie spełnia warunków pozostałych Compos – animacja, muzyka, grafika, film itp.
